Personal - Jim began his career in Dallas, TX in 1965 as a career agent in the life insurance business.  He expanded his endeavors to include more attention to the investment side of planning, passed his Registered Representative exam in 1971 and has been associated with Woodlands Securities since they began operations.

He is very active in the area of fundraising, most recently with The American Heart Association, a lifetime member of Optimist Clubs International, and has served as an Advisory Board Member to Amegy Bank for many years. 

Jim and his wife, Jan, enjoy golfing, traveling, spending time with their children, grandchildren and most recently a great-grandchild.  He is active in FaithBridge Church, members of Raveneaux County Club in Spring, TX and both are very active in their community.
